Sounds like my experience with Astroworld back in the 90s. Every 30 mins a new gang fight started.

Its not just gangs. That was mostly astroworld. At least in my experience, its just a popular hang out with the local teens since season passes are cheapish.

I went to Sea World 4-5 years ago. It was packed as all get out. I threatened to punch an Indian (dot) lady because she kept trying to shove me out of the way at the Shamu show saying "But sir! I am not seeing the whale!" My son and I were already about three people back from the rail at the top of the seating area so no one was seeing the whale very well, if at all. She backed down when I told her that the next time she touched me would be her last conscious thought of the day.

Also, Charpie was in the park as well, she followed me around for most of the day and posted about it here. She's definitely a creeper.

Yeah I get that part -- some of our parents definitely used it as a cheap day care more than a few times (drop the kids off and pick them up after work).

Just amusing to me to picture gang members trying to act hard in front of a Foghorn Leghorn statue and the like.

The gang problems are tied to season passes. Cheapest daycare ever for bad parents when school let's out.

Does the staff still do the shootout thing at Six Flags? That was a big & somewhat scary thing when I was a kid. I knew it was fake but it sounded very real. I loved it.

I will never step foot in a six flags establishment again. a few years ago they held a Muslim awareness day on Sept 12th.
