Is this going to piss me off? If it is, I'll wait until Monday to read it.

Its not something that is going to put a smile on your face.

Not to belittle it, but there's nothing in it that will shock you. It's just some excerpts of people asking what to do and explaining what they are seeing. If you've read much about the 9-11 attacks, I'd say it's mild compared to other stuff.

That's what I was wondering. I'm on hundreds of 911 tapes so typicall transcripts don't bother me. However, I still get infuriated when I see a shot of the NYC skyline in movies, so I don't think that I'll view those today.

what offened me was this mother who lost her son was screaming at the reporters that she wanted to read the transcript to find out why her son was sent into a death trap (he was a rescue worker) and why the building didn't have a plan for terrorism.

I saw a clip of that on TV (might be the same woman). I know she is distraught, but when you accept a job in Fire/EMS/Rescue or Law Enforcement...your job is to go into situations that some consider death traps and get people out. That may sound cold, but that's the bottom line and that's your job.
