Used to ride bulls too. And worked at the Snook arena (is that arena still there).

Many years ago, 2 day trip to San Diego. Out dining that evening, in the booth across from me is this guy with 2 girls, one girl is a blonde.

I kept looking at the guy, man he looks familiar. Baseball player, actor, ...? Couldn't place him.

They stand up to leave, he puts his straw hat on. Cool! it's Ty Murray.

I didn't know who the hell the blonde was, until years later.

Who can saaaaaaaave your marriage?

My last year of teaching/coaching before becoming an assistant principal I had a kid who played football for me and rode bulls as well.

Long story short, he went to tarleton and won a national title in bull riding

Three years after that I received a package in the mail from him containing airline tickets and national finals rodeo tickets to Las Vegas.

Went to Vegas and while sitting in our seats wife says that's jewel in front of us along with her husband. Somehow him and I started talking and we all went out for drinks along with tuff hedeman. Those dudes could put it ****ing away. They were all down to earth people and listening to tuff talk about lane frost was interesting.
