How long do you want to ignore this user?
I was laying over in DC yesterday and my Dad picked me up at the airport and we went to Henderson Hall to get a "quick trim" before dinner.

I only asked for a trim.

Now I look like a fish at A&M!!

Well - you have a number of potential legal causes of action open to you. Starting with the most promising:

In Contract: You asked for a quick trim and were scalped instead - thus the barber materially breached your haircut contract. But, to collect more than the $6 you paid for the haircut would be difficult because of certainty and forseeability issues. However, if you had a few women prepared to testify that they planned to sleep with you - but changed their plans after seeing your bald head your chances of a larger recovery may improve on the theory forgone poontang.

In Tort: An intentional battery claim is where the big $$$ will come from - it allows you collect punitive as well as compensatory damages. You consented to a trim - not a total removal of your hair. The code of the Cosmotology Board in that jurisdiction may impact your case here as well.

Constitutional / Civil Rights Claims: Because this happened on a government military base you can argue it was "state action" - thus giving rise to a myriad of constitutional claims including violation of equal protection, depriviation of due process, or possibly the impairment of your right to free excecise of your religion. You have a federal case here - and you can take it all the way to the supreme court.

Now for the most important part - MY FEE:
Please remit me:
$2 ( 1/3 of your expected $6 refund from the bad haircut)
$100 - a 1/4 hour pro-rate of my normal billing fee

Thanks!!

First off, never under any circumstances, unless you are active duty military and being deployed to a combat zone, everget a haircut at a Marine Corps Barber Shop.

I made a similar mistake when I went to Jump School at Fort Benning. I needed a haircut. I mean, really what LT right out of OBC doesn't, right? I sit down in the chair, ask for a High and Tight, not thinking that a Fort Knox O-Club High and Tight might be different than a Fort Benning BOQ High and Tight. Nothing like being an LT bombing around Jump School looking like an Aggie Band Fall Semester fish. Not a good look.

Ask for a "low regulation" and you'll fare better.

Southlake, at least now you can get an extra 3 minutes of sleep that you won't waste on doing the doo. Plus, you'll save a ton of money on hair care products.

Unless you use either the terms "low-reg", "medium-reg", "high-reg", or "high and tight", they basically do whatever they want to do.

Live and learn...welcome back to phase 1. Don't forget to button that top button on your blouse.
