Wife always buys a bunch from Bear Creek at the Nutcracker market. Its good, but no better than the HEB brand.

Not sure on that, Dad usually takes a fatted hog in there once a year to have it custom processed. The strips are usually 2-3 wide and we have them cut 1/4in thick. It's is ridiculous bacon.

Kiolbassa bacon is the best store bought bacon I've ever had. And I think they quit making it.

Lit a candle called 'warm pipe tobaccco' and after a few mins it made the situation much worse.
Noxious fumes have permeated.
Cutting off the ac and setting up a box fan to try and purge it out.

Miller's Meat Market in Llano makes some great bacon. Kiolbassa makes a great store bought bacon.
This demon bacon ended up in my deep freeze during covid.
So I blame covid in that regard. The gift that keeps on giving.
