Does anyone else know if the price is trending downwards? I need to reorder mine and price is around $1056 for a 10k mens. I can't remember the price when I checked in the spring but I could have sworn it was around $1300.

I've drank a lot since so I could be making s**t up again...

I lost mine and reorded in September for November delivery. Thank god the price of gold has gone down. If there is such a thing as a good time to reorder a lost Aggie ring, I picked the good time.

The association doesn't pay for ****. If you believe that, you believe that the unsubsidized ring cost $2600 last year?

And with 6000 new rings every year and the replacement rings purchased (call it 2000 which is low), the association is spending $4.8MM/year assuming its an average of $600 per ring between mens and womens? Bull****

You think an Aggie Ring just costs the same as its weight in gold? First of all, the demand is pretty inelastic and they are the only supplier so they can charge whatever they want. Secondly, they have agreed to only employ their most seasoned jewelers for Aggie ring production and that arrangement doesn't come cheap.

If you don't think the association can afford it, you obviously don't understand how much money BMAs funnel into that org.

Association paid for half of mine too, but my year they changed it to where you had to ask the lady at the desk for a specific form

I'd imagine it's still that way
