Fortunately there are no poors in our subdivision so nobody fought banning Pit Bulls, Chows, Wolf hybrids, or any mongrel mutt combination that includes them. Gives my comfort knowing my kids and dogs are safe.

I'm pretty sure the only places you can own pitbulls are Detroit and Bryan.

Fortunately, we chose to live in a classy enough neighborhood that we don't have to worry about banning something that we don't have around.
No, not in our neighborhood, people always complain about HOA's, I love them.
We don't have pit bulls, people parking in the street, uncut grass ect ect.

Yes, as the stray dogs of those breeds wander towards your subdivision, they will surely see the signs prohibiting them and slink away in shame with their tails tucked under.
Texas cities can't legally enact breed specific legislation. HOA covenants are agreements between owners so they're probably different.
Our HOA doesnt restrict them.

Pits are actually included in the welcome package when you move to the valley.
Never bought anything Pitbull related, and I turn the channel the moment I see/hear him...I think he should be banned nationwide
I personally have nothing against the breed.
Unfortunately, however, my stripper neighbor and her fourth husband own 3 of them.
They have gotten out twice and attacked other neighbors. One of them severely.
Our only HOA restriction is on the number of dogs we are allowed to have.

False. I've had dachshunds my whole life. Some of them are sweet little cuttlebugs - like real life stuffed animals - some of them are really just born psychotically aggressive.

This thread happens weekly. The responses are predictable on both sides. Don't waste your time.
Fine dogs for the right owners. Sadly, MANY are owned by the wrong type of owner, and the dogs are out of control.

Well, the first time, the strippers son's intentionally opened the door while my neighbor was walking by with her dog because "they wanted to see what would happen."
