Specifically the small indentations below the eagle, on either side of the class year.

If by dewsh you mean someone who appreciates not having their ring look high school'ish, then yes.

+1 for natural.

My ring is going to antique on its own. I don't need someone to preemtively do it for me.

My father's ring was antiqued (Class of '64), which is why I chose antique.

Antiqued is how the real Aggie Ring should look.

If you have a wife or girlfriend, or any female friends, they probably have a small cylindrical jewelry cleaner tub with a built in brush somewhere in their home. Soak the ring for a few minutes, scrub it over with the brush, rinse with water and profit.

Natural.

Not a fan of antique. But some of you may remember the brief tenure of "Rose" as a finish possibility. Would've been classes in the mid to late 90s.

Bunch of choads running around with goddam pink Aggie rings.

Rose was still available in 2002 when I ordered mine. I thought it was fugly as all get out.

My natty ring made its first connection with another ag today.

Soft toothbrush and Windex. It's basically jewelry cleaner, ammonia.

Toothpaste works great, and leaves it minty fresh

Toothpaste is what I use, works great. Makes my 14k natural ring shine.

I will usually try to swing through a Neiman Marcus or other department store that has a fine jewelry department if I am ever in the mall and they will clean it for free with their machines. I have also gone to a random jeweler, Ben Bridge maybe, who did the same free of charge. Looks brand new.

Seriously? It's a class ring. Of course it looks like a class ring. Aggie rings have been "antiqued" for as long as there have been Aggie rings.

Why does this statement turn up on every thread about this? Are you expecting your ring to oxidize? It's gold. Good luck with that.

I use the tub cleaner and brush from wal mart to get all the grime out of the crevices, then a quick polish with a James Avery polishing cloth makes the ring look brand new. $10 a piece, those cloths. It really brightens it up, even after the dip and scrub in cleaner.

Just don't clean the natural and the dirt will antique it over time

I've never cleaned mine. If something is caked on it, I usually just pick at it with a toothpick. Since I never take it off, it gets washed with my hands. I have an antique finish.

I use a baby toothbrush and toothpaste on my Aggie ring and wedding rings. It works great!

I took HS chemistry too. Where did I say anything about oxidation? I never take it off. It gets washed/cleaned, but I don't take the time to scrub it down like some people. I was simply expressing a personal preference with my ring, and you had to go and be a ****** about it. Oooooooohhh it doesn't have the same finish as the Aggie rings of yore! Sue me. Sorry I'm not sorry.

My dad's ring still looks just as gold as mine. sure it's worn down over the years, but it doesn't look anything like that god-awful black stuff on antiqued rings. A friend of mine who graduated in '60 had his ring antiqued when he got it, but through the years it reverse antiqued and is now just as gold as mine.

Antique is a finish, not something that happens to a gold ring on its own over time.

Your ring isn't "antiquing on its own." It's dirty.

You so you want it to look dirty?
