My favorite Mexican food place in the Boston area is a place called Tacos Lupita in Lynn. Crappy town, crappier neighborhood, Mexican soap operas blaring on the TV, you have to go there when the English speaking lady is behind the counter, and I'd hate to see their health dept. scores, but some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I have a feeling that Zagat's has never been there.

This only has about 23% relenvance to this thread, but the best Mexican food EVAR is at Frankie's in Sachse (I think there's one in Richardson too).
