I'm throwing a "Beer Olympics" party soon and want suggestions for ideas.

So far I have:
1. Chug (1 beer per person on team, fastest time wins)
2. Beer Pong Tournament
3. Louisville Chugger - Chug a beer, put a bat to forehead and spin around 10 times, then hit the empty can when tossed from teammate. Fastest time wins. (This one is for my own entertainment so I can watch drunkasses fall repeatedly)
4. Survivor Flip Cup Tournament


Anyone got any more cool ideas? They need to be team participation events that can be ranked in some way.

Ever watch Beerfest? Rinse and repeat.

Chug 2 beers, spin around in a circle, and then see who can toss a big log the farthest.

Costume contest for each of the countries.

Have an ongoing wizard staff for each team- 1 point for every staff that hits the ceiling.

Boat Race:
Each team has their players on opposite sides of the table with two cups of beer in front of each player. A the start signal the first player chugs one cup of beer. When he/she finishes and puts cup back on table the next player chugs one cup . This continues down the line until the last player who chugs each cup back to back. Then the order goes in reverse back to the first player. First team back to the start wins.

So for five players: 1,2,3,4,5,5,4,3,2,1

A few friends and I do an annual beer Olympics.

The scoring system and rules are most important and need to be explained before the drinking begins. There is strategy to the games and the scoring system and order of events will help determine strategy.

We chose teams by a timing how long everyone can chug a 12oz beer out of a cup. Then put teams together as evenly matched as possible.


Event ideas:
Beer bong from funnel
Tricycle race chugging at each end of track
Swim relay chugging at each end of pool
Das boot
Quarters (with beer)
Chicken **** bingo (requires chickens)
Beer toss bingo
Beer pong
Shotgun beer


If you puke during or within 10 minutes of the event ending then you are disqualified. You can puke in between events but can't make yourself puke.

The Eliminator Challenge at the famed Palace Beer Olympics at our old house on Redmond, was the greatest event of all, and involved the final two teams. If you don't know, ask someone.
