Standard fee for an hour in the VIP/champagne room is $300. She worked 11am-3am, so let's say she spent 9 hours in the VIP, that is $2700. $2700+$600=$3300. $45 in tips on stage, and you have $3345.

She says she makes $500-$1000 on a normal night, so this was atypical.

Making too many assumptions here. I couldn't see where it said she worked, but $20/dance is not necessarily the norm any more. Around here, yes, but in New Orleans most joints are $40 a dance. I'd assume that there are other areas around the nation that gouge you just as much.
Champagne Rooms vary a great deal as well. Been to some that's $20 to get in for as long as you want and you negotiate the rest with the girl. Been in others where depending on what room you picked it could be $350/hr up to $1600/hr. Though the stripper doesn't usually keep 90% on those transactions.
And then there's always the $300 dance that only lasts as long as you do...

News flash ......strippers lie. While some do make a ton, it's usually because of one or two of their regulars rained it. I've known a few and it's funny when they send out 10 or so texts to a strategic group to "come see me tonight ". There is NEVER more than one whale in each group. Last thing is they always tell you they make more than they do....why? So when you think you're a high roller throwing out your weakdeack $20's you remind yourself that if you really want to impress this money machine you better go with the 100's

Blue star for you sir. That's like there is a salesman in my company that generally makes around $800,000 a year. He calls on the oilfield accounts in Houston and has enormous sales. I work in San Antonio and call on typical industrial plants and make very average, maybe even below average, money.

But come recruiting day at A&M, they parade the Houston seller around like that's what you're going to be making.

Read the article posted about that stripper hosted by the Daily Mail which features a picture of her (she is cute) ... she mentions being propositioned by guys, and a couple of them even make six figures ...

If she were taking $3350 a night with any frequency she wouldn't be impressed with "six figures". I know I'm not.

well probably very little and if you figure in the education credit that they are using to help pay for med school, I would imagine the stripper tax refund could be fairly high.

The thing about this $3k night is that it is atypical.

The problem is, once that happens once, they tell themselves they can do that every night, so they feel free to blow their money.

They have to tell you they make $1000 a night, to say otherwise is to admit that their physical outer beauty isn't worth that much.

It can be a lucrative job, but it is one of the most taxing jobs there is, as far as the toll it takes on a person's self-esteem.
