You've obviously never spent much time hanging out with strippers. They spend like crazy.
I know two from high school. One of them worked in Houston at The Men's Club and also at Rick's, the other worked at The Lodge in Dallas.
They both ended up getting into financial planning when they "retired" from the club life. One of them had some pretty massive debt, even after all the time working the clubs.
Each of them went back to their respective clubs and tried to have some mini-seminars with the girls to talk to them about investing and saving for the future. None of them were interested.
One of them spent probably 25% of her income ordering from Victoria's Secret online. And she upgraded her car every year or two. And she had a few car wrecks that were costly.
It was sad. They had kind of assumed they would always just be able to go back and make more money whenever they needed to, but in the end they just hated going to work and were tired of pig men.
They are both doing well now, but they easily could have been retired. Lots of spending on "stuff", and lots of traveling at the spur of the moment.
