I can understand the appeal of a ring wrap. For women that don't wear much jewelry, it may seem like a good idea to add a little to the Aggie ring. Because if not for the Aggie ring, you could have a nice anniversary-type ring.
I'm not going to trade my Aggie ring for an anniversary ring, and I'm willing to bet most Aggie women wouldn't. But if they wanted a little more, why not combine the two? So I can see the appeal of adding a little extra color or more diamonds.
I prefer to keep just my Aggie ring, but I can see someone wanting to enhance it without changing the ring itself.
My Aggie ring is huge on my finger so adding to it would look awful. It's a size 4 because I have such tiny hands. I wear 3 rings: My wedding set, Aggie Ring, and a dime ring. The dime ring is actually made out of a dime and is over 60 years old - passed down through the family. The circumference is smaller than a dime, so it goes on my pinkie finger.
