Home features multiple waterfalls, an old west saloon, and a full-fledged LAZY RIVER.

I want it. Only $3,000,000, which is shockingly low price for a house that size with that many features.

Wasn't this from that thread a few years ago talking about the most badass pool ever being created (for a home)?

The price for places like this don't scare me as much as the thought of what the taxes are. That's where THE REAL money is.

True. Also maintenance, water/electric bills...cost of living really adds up. I would try to get people in there and charge admission.

Great view and back yard, but the interior is awful. Tacky, overdecorated, what a Mafiosi in New Jersey would think is good taste. It looks like a business or hotel, but definitely not like a home.

Footnote: I wonder if the property taxes are based on the selling price or on what the property would have been listed for if real estate in that area hadn't gone down the toilet.

The hole place is all novelty. I wouldn't want to live there.

Even for that much ugly, the price tag should be a red flag. Something is wrong. Could be the foundation, could be water problems, could be all the porn movies that were probably filmed there. But there is some reason it is priced that low.

also HDR does not always mean good photography. A lot of those pictures look like crap

The place probably smells like Michael Jackson juice.

A $200/sf 9245 sf home ($2MM) with a $1MM pool/yard thing. I'd say it's priced about right, but who want their pool to cost 50% the price of the house? If I could afford that pool, I'd want a nicer house. If I could afford that house, I'd want a $300K pool.

hah I'm sure the guy paying a $15K mortgage is really concerned about the monthly $3K in taxes and $700 water bill.

If you could afford that mortgage, the taxes wouldn't scare you.

The little kid in me likes this part the best

I have a friend(who posts here) who's BIL has been "squatting" in their house for 8-9 months.

Haven't been served an eviction notice after not paying their mortgage.

I actually looked at a foreclosure house last year that *had* a saloon added on to the back of the house where a sunroom might have been. Even worse, the basement had multiple bathroom stalls complete with swinging doors to each one! The house was built in the late teens or early 20s, and I expect it was converted into a speakeasy/brothel/???? type operation. The rooms upstairs were sh**** and velvety too.
