It is time to replace my current bed and I'm trying to figure out what brand and type of bed to buy next.

I would love to hear suggestions from people that have had a bed for a year or more and still love it. I liked my current bed at first but the thing was real soft and as time went by it started having sunken in spots from where I preferred to sleep.

I have a relative with a sleep number and I thought it sucked when I tried it out a few months ago.

Where are good places to buy beds? Can you negotiate?

I have a cheap king sized bed that my Grandma bought me in 2004. It is still the best bed I've slept in. I just need to get new box springs.

Tempurpedic or GTFO

I've had my bed for 3 years, and I still sigh with happiness every time I lay down in it! It's a Spring Air Four Seasons - Camelot. It is so wonderful and soft.... I wish I could go t bed right now!

Also, I've had a sleep number and it was truly awful. I woke up every morning in pain. Worst purchase I ever made.

i have a Corsicana and I love it. Plus it is Texas made!

We have the Angel bed. It's similar to Tempurpedic but a little cheaper. We bought it when we were living up north and the company mailed it to us. We've had it for about two years.

How's the doin' it on a tempurpedic? Does the memory foam throw off rhythm?

i'll say its just fine since i've never stopped long enough while doin it to think about how the doin it is on it

Sleep number is definitely horrible.

Had a Temperpedic bed for more than 10 years and still love it.

Do tempurpedic beds retain heat or something?

Everyoneis a bit different with sleeping temperatures, so kind of hard to say you will or won't. Nice thing is when you buy one you are not locked into it because of the trial period. So, if it doesn't work you can get something else or get your money back.

Yes, they retain heat. You get used to it. It's so comfy you'll adjust your room temp.

I get hot too on certain beds and definitely want a bed that will not burn me up.
