visited with my 100-yr old great grandma today. still holds conversations about her life at her nursing home, remembers everything i've told her from 6 months ago, reads letter-sized handwriting without any glasses, and has all her original teeth. she's basically a superhero

That I've met and would invite to a wedding... probably like 80ish...

I still have all 4 of my grandparents, I feel like one of the few 23 yr olds that can gladly say that. They are 85,83,82, and 82.

Dr. Ag, I was that way up until 35 (4 years ago). Down to 1. Grandpa is 85. He learned email, so I send him questions every week. Wish I would have done that when I had all 4.

My mom is 88. Distant relative and close family friend is 104. She still plays the piano in my mom's church and drove until she was 100.

Great-Grandfather is 95 and still tends to cows.

Stubborn as hell and more than likely will die working cows. He has been trampled three times in the last five years and had ribs/back/arms/legs broken.

Crazy ass, stubborn, and one hell of a nasty attitude.

Great Uncle is 93. He comes from Reno a few times of year to visit. He can't hear ya but he can tell you the punch line to whatever joke you are telling.

Grandpa is 84 and just recently retired as a truck driver. He averaged driving 100K+ miles per year for the last 40 years. Now he spends each and every weekday at the senior citizens center playing 42 and talking politics.

My mother in law is 90.

I'm next at almost 69.

And my wife follows me at 66.

Good times.

Thanks, el bee.

I post most often over on the entertainment board with movie reviews and music stuff.

And on the football, Men's BB and Women's BB boards in season.

Grandfather is 83.
His siblings (twins) are 82 (one hit just first hole in one two months ago, a week before my cousin thats three weeks older than me hit his first.)
Grandmother is 81 and still has lunch every Tuesday with her cousin of the same age every Tuesday. They're the only ones left from my High School's class of '50 out of twelve.

But this is coming from a family where my aunt had a midlife crisis at 50 and started running six miles every morning instead of 2 and bought a Harley.

Side note: one of my best friend's grandfather holds the world record for the only sub-10 minute mile for anyone 90+.
