I have a friend that is a guy and I really honestly love him as a best friend. We have the exact same sense of humor, we have the exact same interests and very intelligent conversation.

Problem is that there is no attraction whatsoever from my end. I would feel the same about him if he were a chick. Hes made it known that he feels very strongly for him and I was very honest with him that those feelings arent there for me.

He also said it was hard for him to hang out with me but yet he is always calling me to go out and hang and play darts and stuff.

Is it selfish of me to maintain this friendship? Hes honestly probably the closest thing I have to a best friend.
