The Astros started strong, but a few injuries put them back on track to where I think they belong. Brett Myers and Wandy need to get traded. Preferably Carlos Lee too, but that's not as likely. They are finally starting to build up their minor league system, but it's going to be a long time before that pays off. I'd rather that they get the #1 pick a few more years in a row.

They've traded crappy major league players for some mediocre minor league players, so I assume it'll be nothing but uphill from here.

The next 7 games are against the NL Central Leaders of Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. There may be 3 victories tops here, likely 1-2.

A 3 gamer in MIL should get you a win.

7 straight against the NL East leaders (@ ATL and WAS) should get 1-2 more wins.

So by August 9th, the Stros will likely be somewhere in the neighborhood of 39-74 .345 (106 loss pace)

Upside, you're leading the "reverse standings" by 3 games and will have another top draft choice. Your 2012 draft was pretty solid and I assume your 2013 should be pretty good as well.
