I'm not saying I would be thrilled... I'm just saying things could be a lot worse and I'm pragmatic enough to recognize that.

Also what didn't help is that this guy worked for the Cowboys at the time too. It's one thing when it's a story to tell your friends, but when you have to see her everyday (she worked there too, some sort of admin I think) and everyone you work with knows what went down, I'd imagine that amplified the gut punch factor. I worked with him at the accounting firm he was with prior to him working for the Cowboys, the Cowboys were a client of ours and he went to work for them.

As far as Aikman's divorce goes, I don't know if it has as much to do with the ghey as it did simply getting younger at that position. She didn't miss many meals while they were married.
