gumby's was still the best pepperoni roll in town until ~ 07. they were significantly worse when i went down there in the fall of 08
i live next to ponzo's ITL and was not impressed with their pizza. but if they have pizza rolls i may go give them a shot.

Gumby's looks like a front for illegal drugs.
Gumby's are key to my happiness. HOWEVER...I will say that I have had very different batches varying in size and overall quality from there. depends on who is making them I guess. One time they were literally half the size of the very next batch I got. But for what it is, cheap frat boy food, it really doesn't get better IMO

I remember calling Gumby's to order a pizza about 2 hours before a Cowboys-Bills Super Bowl at A&M and they said the wait time was 4 hours and 45 minutes.
Gumbys was complete **** and a total classic at the same time. 50 cent rolls on Tuesday nights baby. I used to buy 8 of them with two ranch dips and a coke and eat them while watching 30 for 30s at my apartments. I would even use a dirty shirt as a napkin.

As a student organization leader, we bribed people to attend our meetings with Gumby's pizza rolls. One time we did actual pizza and it was such a letdown.

Gumby's was way better than double Dave's. I would pay quite a bit of money for their exact ranch recipe. It really helped solidify their taking at the top.

Mama's pizza was more expensive. And also better IMO.
Gumby's was the only place you could get a 20" pizza and pepperoni rolls, give them a $10 bill and get change.
