There was a thread about some amazing sounding jello shots. I want to make them. Help a girl out

I made them ... will look for it.

For one (3oz) box of peach jello:

Cold Liquid:
6oz sweet tea flavored vodka (mine is 75 proof, this can affect how well the Jello sets up so be aware of it.)
2oz unsweet tea (Chicken Express tea!)
You might not actually need to cut the vodka with plain tea, I just wanted to be sure they set up, and also not taste like rubbing alcohol

Put in freezer to chill for a while...you want it to be as cold as possible without freezing

Hot Liquid
1 cup + 1 tbsp unsweet tea
1 tbsp sugar

Dissolve sugar into tea as much as possible. Heat in the microwave to a boil, then stir to be sure sugar is dissolved. Then stir in Jello packet, and make sure it's dissolved. Sometimes you have to stir for a minute or two. Add the cold liquid, and pour into shot cups and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

does anyone else have any ideas on what kinds of drinks to make with left over tea flavored vodka? Besides mixing it with tea.

Skip the cups and make a mold out of it. It makes for a great picnic or afternoon dessert.

Sweat tea vodka + lemonade = awesomeness (aka the John Daly)

Pink Lemonade works really well too. It's a bit sweeter than the regular yellow stuff...Or the raspberry lemonade that comes in concentrate in the freezer section.

Ok so this is what's happening:

peach jello shots
sweet tea vodka + lemonade
sailor jerry spiced rum
jack daniels
gordon's vodka
standard coke/dp/sprite/cream soda mixers
I'm cutting up some cherries and infusing them with vodka


QUESTION: if I put a **** ton of sour patch kids in some vodka.... will the vodka taste like sour patch goodness by tomorrow.

Blondskii, I would thunk so. I know people that soak jolly ranchers, gummy worms, etc in any clear to drink a day or two later.
