go to the texags menu bar inside a forum and click the script options button. the check "show previously hidden threads" and then "save settings"

it might be possible to do something like that, but it wouldn't be straightforward. texags only shows the poster name on the forum page, and no link to their profile or id number. it would be possible to hide all rook posts inside threads fairly easily, though.

Can you extract any information about threads that get deleted?

Even if it's just a notice like: "thread titled 'BLAH BLAH BLAH' was removed"

it's be hard to tell if it was removed or just fell off the front page due to security restrictions placed in the extensions.

Is userscripts.org history? I've got a new machine setup, and I'm trying to install the Firefox Greasemonkey scripts, but userscripts.org has been down for the last 24 hours.
