I realize that I should have grown out of being ticklish years ago, but I just never did. My feet are EXTREMELY ticklish. I squirm and giggle and can't sit still whenever I get a pedicure, but I love love love having them done!!

Anyone have any advice on how to be less childish and deal with it??

I'm so ticklish I can't even have someone's hand close to my tummy, feet, head, neck, or around my ears.

As for the pedicure, I just tell them not to mess with my arches. I can usually sit through the rest.

Pedicures don't bother me, but I have the same issue with massages. Supposedly it's all mental and you can convince yourself that you know it's coming, and it doesn't really tickle. Hasn't worked for me yet, though.

Same issue here, splits. I have pretty much given up on pedicures.

FYI: guys don't care what your toes look like.

I hate feet and am ticklish. I do not find pedicures relaxing.

I love the leg massage and the hot stones and masks and how my feet look after, but I hate the foot scrubbing part. I tipped the poor girl who did my feet today like $10 because I felt so bad about my behavior.

I take my Kindle and read and try not to jerk my foot away.

I agree. I am extremely ticklish and have to try really hard to not kick the person giving me a pedicure.

I usually tell the person when they are scrubbing my feet to do it really hard. The more gentle they are, the more I squirm and kick.

I'm so ticklish that the last time I got a pedicure I jerked my foot and almost kicked the lady in the face Luckily, the most of the women who work there know my mom very well so they prob knew. Otherwise, everything else about the pedicure is amazing!

I'm a little ticklish, so sometimes it bothers me. But I haven't kicked anyone yet, and my wife likes the results.

My feet are extremely ticklish during pedicures. And I can't have the hot stone massage on my legs. My skins are crazy sensitive to the touch and the stones hurt soooo badly.

I have the same problem. All the Vietnamese ladies laugh at me because I squirm when they mess with my feet.

I'm very ticklish. But I also have the mental toughness to buck up and sit through a pedicure.

I don't even know if I'd call it ticklish, but I can't stand for them to scrub the arch of my foot during pedicure. It almost hurts. But if I can get through that, I love pedicures, and spouse sure appreciates them too!
