Took me 2 minutes to register my summer/fall classes.

Being a senior is awesome. Not to mention finally getting to the classes I'm really interested in.

Life is good.

One semester we had to go in the hall to geth through. Do that you got the classes you needed. We think someone's spirit that didn't get the classes they wanted was helping us. I was at the tail end of phone and start of new online registration.

I can remember setting my alarm for 4 am on the morning that classes would open so I could get in an register as early as possible...also avoid the busy signal. That **** sucked.

I had an insider working for me (and all of D-2) that got us registered early in what we wanted when we wanted

WTF is it with D2? My D2 buddy could get football tix anywhere he wanted. Nothing random about it like they always claimed!

Back then it was a former Dog's mom working in the registration office. She'd input our schedules before she opened her line for the day and we'd go buy later to double check, but, we were always in.

When I was a fish there was no phone registration, just long damn lines at the pavilion.

I remember literally having people giving their ideal schedule to friends and everybody calling.


Man that sucked balls. I never hated a busy signal so much in my life.

Worst was I remember once finally getting through and one of my classes was full. I tried looking through Bonfire, but it jacked up and I had to restart my computer. At some point the phone kicked me out and didn't save my classes. I wanted to rip up the phone line all the way to campus and beat the registrar with it.

Why does Texas rebel keep acting like he was in school when they did phone registering?

I was there for bonfire and phone reg. man that was crazy chit. i also came back many years later and had myrecord.. these new ags really have no clue how easy they got it.

fortunately it wasn't the ONLY way to register, but since online registration (BONFIRE) was brand new, the old system was still used just in case.

My second semester, the online system went down for a few hours when my slot had opened up... the phones still worked though.

How young did you think I was?

yay for being a disability student--I registered before the seniors every semester. it always took 2 minutes to register for classes.

I was under the impression you were a 05-08er
