I have taken some photos of campus and wanted to know what everyone thought. I'd also like some suggestions of more Texas A&M photography that you'd like to see.

I looked through all of those photographs and while they're nice and all, I don't recall seeing any shots of naked chicks. That'd be more along the lines of the stuff we GB types like.

That photography isn't too hot.

- Focus is soft on some of your images
- Unintentional lens flare on one image
- White balance is off on two images

Anyone remember that Naked Aggie website from the late 90's? Some redhead chick who wasn't all that hot, but it was still kind of intriguing to see here pose and spread all over campus and various Brazos County spots and railroad crossings.

gnowak, awesome pictures. My girlfriend would love some nice pictures of me and here before Ring Dunk. How much would you charge for pictures at 1 or 2 different backgrounds?

Ha I use the term "photographer" loosely. I'm not sure what else to call myself. A hobbyist maybe.

I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel XS with the stock 18-55mm in those pictures. I use a 70-300mm for moving photography, like my dogs at the dog park.

Do yourself a favor and buy a film SLR that you can put your Canon lenses on. It will make you a much better photographer, and it will teach you patience. Your shots have potential, and shooting film for a few months (or in my case 8 years) will get rid of some bad habits.

Also, try shooting smaller things at first, it will help you learn to frame your shots in more interesting ways that still look nice.

The Alumni Center and Kyle/Olsen Field shots aren't edited. The Aggie Memorial shot was done in GIMP.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about the Texas A&M photos. The black and whites were done in GIMP.

a couple of those A&M photos are pretty good, but my favorite on your site is the moon in the Nature section. nice post-processing
