I know you're not supposed to and it will get "confiscated" (which I think is absolutely stupid considering what they're doing for us)

Anyway, anyone ever successfully send over alcohol? I'm assuming not since they scan these carepackages, but figured I'd ask.

Apropos of nothing whatsoever, 2 twelve ounce cans of beer fit perfectly in a Pringles can. Shiner comes in 12 ounce cans. I'm just saying...

So there are a bunch of guys walking around a scorching desert with large guns...and you want to give them something that will get them drunk and dehydrated...and you wonder why that's a problem?

From my guy:

Take a box of capri sun, take out 2-4, jams the bottle inthe box, put the caprisun back in box, tape back up like never opened.

Just know the only glass bottle thy he ever have make it was patron. It has a thicker glass. So send in plastic bottles.

Also, listerine bottle, pour out the contents and add liquor.

we used to do this for parties in college

My neighbor sends the airline bottles of crown to her husband all the time. Never been caught, just packs it in with the licorice and other candy she sends him.

All the ones I knew didn't want us to send liquor - between you know, being responsible in a dangerous area, most of them working out like fiends anyways.

Empty Scope Bottle. Vodka. Blue food coloring. Shrink wrap top.

Boxes sent to Iraq/Afghanistan are X-rayed. If alcohol is found, the recipient can get in trouble.

That said, the Baghdad Embassy PX has a liquor aisle. State Department can have alcohol, but US military and DOD Contractors / DOD Civilians cannot.
