While I do think some people do go "overly Aggie" at times, painting a room the color of your favorite college sports team isn't one of them (especially a color as palatable as maroon). Don't be an ass.
If you are going to paint your room maroon, at least use a good paint like Valspar. You can get it at any Lowes, just take the color codes to them and they will match the color for you.
Glidden Paint used to have a line of "official" sports colors. They lost a bunch of licensing for those colors but I believe they still sell the Aggie Maroon color. I bought some of this at Home Depot a few years back. My recommendation to is, if they still sell it, buy a small can of the glidden. Then take it to Sherwin Williams to have it matched, because Glidden paint sucks. You'll end up having to paint like 4 coats to get it right.
My company has done work for A&M before and we had to have Aggie Maroon matched. Take the PMS code on that website to Sherwin Williams and they can match it perfect.
Took the code to wherein williams and the guy said that is used for ink not paint and showed me some random maroon samples. Anyone help any other advice.
