Also, I find it interesting that Shiner Bock wasn't popular until they started charging $5.00 a 6pack.

Lived 40 miles from Shiner and remember when they couldn't give the bock away.

Shiner still comes from that "little" brewery in Shiner, TX. It's a cool place to visit. They give you some free beer if you take the tour.

Zeig, on the other hand, is made in some big factory in New York city or somewhere

Zeigenbock is an Anheuser-Busch product that was developed specifically to fight for market share with Shiner bock here in Texas, smart business move on AB's part but still big business crowding out the little guy.

Speaking of which, while I was in Maryland for Thanksgiving we ran to the liquor store to get some wine for dinner and they had Shiner in the cooler. I was impressed

Ziegen's better tasting beer...so Ziegen. Even though it is a Busch product. By the way, Michelob Amber Bock is good too, as are many micro-brewed Bocks.

I used to go with Shiner out of Texas loyalty and all, but since they've started the radio commercials where those two tools act like stoned California surfers I quit.

Only a tekkie would rely on an internet message forum to computate statistical "data!"

For the good of mankind though, I'll go with Shiner.

Shiner...but Ziegen tastes good too.

you're probably right, it's not the best manner but I really don't care too much about it, I just want the class to be over with. I was just gonna flip a coin a bunch of times and heads was Z and tails was Shiner, I figure this is better than that.
