I've not been unawares of the advances in TurboGroomer Technology. Fortunately, my TurboGroomer 3.0 is still running strong. My nose hair remains kempt and close cropped.

But comes a day that my TurboGroomer 3.0 falls, I will certainly give strong consideration to the most current iteration of the TurboGroomer flagship.

Whoa! I forgot this guy existed! Gig'Em!

While still considered the 5.0 model, the latest Turbo Groomer COBALT is the model of choice. Sleeker, higher torque, and waterproof!

I found a battery operated one at Harbor Freight a year ago that works pretty well.

RIP TexAgs in her prime.

Looking back, I can say without fear of contradiction, that the Turbo Groomer 3.0 was the short lived pinnacle of personal groomers. It's two C cell powerplant provided swift and decisive action, and lasted for better than a decade. When the time to replace it came, all that was available was the Turbo Groomer 5.0, a miserable two AA powered shadow of the 3.0. It's lack of performance was mercifully short lived. I've been in the wilderness, searching for a suitable replacement, for 5 years now.

But thanks to boundless support of Texags, I know I'll get through this somehow.

Beautifully written

I briefly used a nose hair trimmer that came with my beard trimmer, but it would give me painful pimples/ingrown hairs inside of my nose. Since then I just use scissors.

I always smile when I'm about to insert rotating razor blades in my nostrils.

I like the crunching noise followed by a sink filling up with hair.

Plastic surgery has come a long, long way. For about 3 years now, prosthetic noses have been the way to go. Same look and function, zero maintenance. I'm glad I made the switch.
