Same with Lubbock . . . it is always said Lubb-ick up there. Be glad it is Pampa. I grew up in Muleshoe, 30 miles from Clovis, NM, and 75 miles NW of Lubb-ick.

I moved away from there when I was 14, the summer before my freshman yr in high school. But it would've been '94. Up until then I had lived there that whole time.
