Just went to Wolf Creek in January. Stayed at the hot springs resort. Love that place.
I've also been to Crested Butte and enjoyed it as well. I've been to most of the resorts in Colorado.

Wolf Creek is the best. It's big enough to not get bored of the runs but small enough to have a group go without getting lost. Also not too crowded. Soaking in the springs after a long day of skiing and smelling like sulfur can't be beat

I hated the sulfur at first.......but then I just thought about the indians that soaked in those springs back in the day and I just forgot about the smell. Well, that and the really hot group of girls as well.
I've never tried snow boarding. I figure why mess with something I'm good at. The snowboarders also feel the need to look like as big of a dbags as possible.

yeah, snowboarding is hard. stick to skiing because i know you can't do it.

I skiied for the first time since I was a little kid this last year and picked it up but
it took me a day. I grew up with a lot of board sports and picked up snowboarding really quick. I wouldn't mind having a set of skis just to change it up every once in a while

Maybe in a few years I'll do the boarding thing. I just have this immense fear of getting off the ski lift with those things because they are just so awkward. I've seen so many boarders eat it.
My philosophy is to ski as long as I'm still having fun. That may be the rest of my life and it may not. I just don't want to start something and have to basically waste a trip learning it.
That's why you stay 3 weeks during Christmas break
My longest trip ever was only a week and a half.
