I am an RF Engineer.

Right now I design receivers, transmitters, and antennas for a telemetry system.

I restart computers.

I am a graduate student/ teaching assistant in Entomology Department at Texas A&M.
I teach a Aquatic Insect/Fly Fishing class in the Fall and an Insect Ecology lab in the Spring.
I also bide my time with research on the Nutrition of Insects as it deals with Ecological Stoichiometry and the geometric approach. I basically look at specific elements and how their different levels effect a certain life stage of grasshopper, and if these grasshoppers regulate the intake of some elements and not others and I infer reasons as to why this happens.

I just got promoted! As of tomorrow, I'm a "Regional Loss Prevention Manager/Organized Retail Crime Investigator" for a major retailer. I do a LOT of different things - some days I'm an auditor checking up on my stores' inventory control and accounting compliance. Other days I'm an interviewer talking to dishonest employees. And on my very favorite days, I'm working with law enforcement and other retailers conducting investigations and surveillances of criminals who are engaged in organized theft/fraud activities. I LOVE my job so much!

I'm an independant manufacturer's rep(salesman) for 10 or so decorative plumbing and hardware manufacturers.

I call on builders, architects, plumbing and hardware showrooms, interiors designers and some plumbers.

My job has taken me to German, Italy, Canada and Mexico. I've traveled to almost every part of the US.

My job is not too difficult, but not many people can do what I do. Plus, when I'm out of town, I drink and eat nice meals and get reimbursed for it. I set my own hours and work out of my home.

The money is ok, but I get up every morning and look forward to the day...

I'm so glad I don't work in an ER. I can handle it for a night or two, but not full time.

I write code and mostly fix code and Excel spreadsheets that the traders tried to write themselves.

half the day is spent filling out paperwork, taking care of timesheets, and in meetings. the second half of the day is spent out at either a running store or Niketown overseeing the run club events.

I work for a large Industrial Supply Company with a big red catalog.
