Everyone from a small town in East Texas claims it's their town. My wife claims her town, I claim mine, a buddy claims his, etc...

I was speaking about production, although there is a lot of traffic there on Hwy 114. Every once in a while we would hear stories about fires outside of town caused by meth labs exploding.

I'm pretty sure Marble Falls has a pretty bad meth problem. Judging by the people i've seen around there, i would agree.

The people that live behind my parents moved in a trailer home which subsequently blew up due to their attempt at meth production.

So before that happened I would have said Rusk, but since that put a dent in production I am changing my answer to Maydelle.

I still think the outskirts of Longview has to win. Craphole cities like New Diana and Ore City and Harrelton near the lake make some srs ice.

**** the people who say the Longvie area, with the exception of Gilmer, that's simply not true. Don't let the East Texas stereotypes mislead you, the real capital is Wichita Falls. I can't believe anyone would suggest elsewhere.

Cranny and Mrs Cranny's hometowns are much larger and nicer than mine.

I definitely claim meth capital. my county is officially the teen pregnancy capital of Texas as well.

In Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle, 47 percent of all the drug items examined by the DPS laboratory were either methamphetamines or amphetamines, while in McAllen and Laredo, less than 1 percent were these substances. Laboratories in the northern part of the state are also more likely to report analyzing substances that turned out to be ammonia or pseudoephedrine, which are chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
