I am not trying to go off on some crusade saying marriage is bad for men, but making the point that men in general are normally more reluctant to get married than women yet still have to spend quite a bit of money on a wedding ring as part of the process...I find this a bit funny.

I am not saying marriage is going to stink for men so the woman should have to give them something to compensate, but just talking about the fact men are in general more hesitant to get married.
