I think there was going to be a big soccer match in Springfield and everyone was totally pumped. I think Homer and everyone else were decked out in team apparel and were cheering and then the big moment came when the game started. They kicked off and just started kicking the ball back and forth and it got real boring. After a while the people in the crowd got so bored and angered that they started a riot. Funny stuff.

3. The best part is the shot of the two announcers. Kent Brockmans play by play is totally how I see the game. The Mexican announcer is how the rest of the world sees the game.

The riot was actually started by people arguing over who was going to leave first becuase of the boredom.

Nashville sucks.

I love the riot scene. Willie is sitting there with his holligan friends and says:

"Ach! You call this a riot?! C'mon boys, it's time for some schoolin'!" and they take out lead pipes, trudgeons, etc. Funny stuff!

I love the commercial for the game in that episode:

"This game will decide who is the greatest nation on Earth: Mexico or Paraguay!"
