Just curious. I have seen a lot of heroin reporting on cable over the last year or so and hearing them talk about how widespread its use has gotten. Personally Ive never done drugs but curious as to those who have done it.

People who take heroin have much shorter life spans.

I knew one guy who was a heroin addict, but I didn't know it at the time. When I first met him, I think he'd been on it for a few years. Less than five years later, he looked like he'd aged about 20 years.

While the thought of heroin withdrawal is appealing to me... I still couldn't stick a needle in myself.

I hate the Allman Brothers.... and I've never tried heroin. I think smoking was MUCH more addictive, though.... but that's just my opinion. I'll never REALLY know the truth to that one! Oh, and I can't stand needles. And how can people actually inject themselves? I have enough troble with blood donations, blood tests, and flu shots. I couldn't imagine being a diabetic, and having to give myself insolin shots 3 times a day... <shuddering>

you don't have to inject, you can snort it too.

The needle is one thing, but also I know people who've tried it and they said they know why people become addicts. I don't wanna be an addict so I'm not trying it.

TA99: I've actually dropped acid once but not enough to do anything. I ended up feeling exactly like I do now. I'll never do it again though. I'm not a fan of hallucenating. Not my idea of a good time.

the part where homechickie gets it in the end by the girl was horrible. the arm getting amputated was distirbing too.

Acid is some scary crap. I haven't ever done drugs, but if I were going to, acid and heroin are the two that I would never touch.

Having flashbacks years down the road from taking a hit one time is not my idea of a fun time.
