Isn't the bigger question is whether or not the team went to chicken express after silver taps.

That's because Lubbock is a long way from Ireland.

May we assume that he is in turn Aggie owned and operated by Ray Childress?

They have Chicken Express up in Norman (OK). I never saw anything Aggie related at that one back when I was in high school.

Yes, it is aggie owned and operated. He and his wife own the locations in College Station. Great success story, he was a Sigma Nu as well.

To clarify, the one in Norman has OU stuff all over it.

I'm guessing it is not aggie-operated.

Even if the one in Norman were Aggie-owned, I would hope the guy would have enough business acumen to put OU crap up everywhere.

It's good for business.

hell if i owned a business like that in austin i would put longhorn stuff up all over the place..but if i owned a place like that in lubbock..i'd probably keep it generic...

Aggie was right in saying that the College Station locations are Aggie Owned and Operated. Both the owner and his wife are Ags.

The Chicken Express Corporation is not Aggie Owned and Operated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe that one or both of the Stuarts, as well as their son, went to tech. Its been a while since Ive seen them so I could be way off, but I know that a lot of the people that they go around are either Ags or Raiders. The Chicken Es down here are actually owned by my cousins' brother and sister in law and I live around the Stuarts so I consider myself to have more inside information than the fish pond manager on this issue.

To clarify, the two College Station stores, as well as Magnolia and Taylor, are owned by Aggies, Clayton and Jana Rhoades. Clayton is Class of '94 and Jana is Class of '97. The Stuarts, who own the Franchise, are not Aggies (although I'm sure they wish they were!!!). Their son went to TCU. The couple that owns the Lubbock stores are half Aggie half red raider. Hopefully this clarifies the above questions. Gig'em Chicken E!!!
