If you can keep your current income level constant or increasing, of course you would want a recession. Most people, however, are not in that position even if they think they are.

The DUBs have been in the technological dark ages for some time now. Saves a hell of a lot of money.

Sorry but if your income level remains the same your wealth will decrease. Not everything gets cheaper in a recession.

We won't know until mid-year if we truly in a recession, since it takes 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth. We've had one month so far this year.

I think most nay-sayers are hoping it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
