Some of you may remember me coming here and asking for thoughts and prayers for Amber Belkin's family (in San Antonio) after she was brutally murdered. Amber Belkin was my sister's neice (apart of her husband's side of the family). She was found in an EB Games, dead. The incident has devastated the family, especially Amber's parents.
Recently, we were in San Antonio for my niece's birthday party and Amber's mother was there. Folks, she hurting very badly still. A year has gone by and time does not seem to be healing that wound.

Again, I ask you that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Some of us may disagree on what justice should be, but I hope all of you will agree that justice needs to be brought to the man who committed this crime. Pray that our justice system prevails and pray that the family can start to regain some of the happiness they knew before one of their own was taken from them.
