Any donations go straight to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Not to the family.
We are in our second year of rasing money for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children through donations made to support our efforts in running in the Wellstone's White Rock Marathon in Dallas, Texas. Proceeds from the race are donated to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Micah has been a patient at TSRH since he was 3 months old after he was diagnosed with Caudal Regression Syndrome. He is missing the lumbar section of his spine and he was born with clubbed feet. The doctors at TSRH were able to straighten out Micah's legs and feet through casting and braces. Without them Micah would have never been able to sit in a chair much less ride a bike or a 4-wheeler. This past January TSRH assisted our family in getting Micah his first wheel chair. This has given Micah so much independence and mobility. TSRH is truly an amazing place with wonderful people and doctors dedicated to helping children. They have never charged for the sevice they provide. They operate from generous donations from caring people like you.
