How long do you want to ignore this user?
Booked Saturday and Sunday night on points at Hilton Omaha. Unfortunately - so did my buddy who is going also. Therefore we have an extra room for Saturday and Sunday night and it is non-refundable. If anyone is looking for a room for those days happy to give it up for $1,200 for both nights or you can transfer me 120K Hilton points. It's a king room. Must be for both nights.

How does this work with non refundable rooms? I've been in a similar situation (albeit not with Hilton) and had to eat the cost, so I'm just curious because I don't want to do that again!

Added his name to our room reservation by calling the hotel so he can check in. He can reach out directly to the hotel to confirm and Hilton allows you to transfer points between members. I also offered to meet them at check if need be

Hilton says in the booking that if it's booked with points the account owner must be present at check in. No idea if they follow through with that, though....

Spoke with the hotel directly yesterday and put the additional name on the reservation. Front desk said they could check in with/o me

However we get in tonight and will meet the Ag who took the room at the hotel to make sure we are all good.

Thanks for the heads up though. Always depends on who you get on the phone or at the front desk which is why we will be there for them to check in!
