I know this has been said before. But, I almost got scammed from a (979) 406-4561 number. They were asking for a Zelle transfer only and said they had a 12th Man account. They respond immediately before the ticket holder. Lucky I received two messages from two different numbers.

Got a message from same name. Looked up profile because seemed suspicious.
soon we will have a verified badge for selling and then Texags can charge a surcharge on the tickets...its own in house seat geek with not as huge of fees

If someone has a brand new account, they may have made it specifically to scam people. All of the posts seem to be just general filler posts, and there is no Ag Tag.
Also insisting on using Zelle is a huge red flag.
Good luck and stay vigilant and remember anyone in the world can access this board and create fake accounts and fake phone numbers.

Is there anyway to ban the accounts from PMs as well? I've noticed that a few of the scammers that people have mentioned are conducting business via DM, sometimes a couple weeks after they've been outed publicly (and permabanned most likely from public posts)ooshwa said:
