Ags lose to #67 Nebraska

From a Top 20 team to the bottom in the Big 12. I thought it would take Mr. Sippie three years to do this. It took him only one year.

Hiring a sippie to do a man’s job is the stupidest thing Mr. Byrne has done at Aggieland. Totally wiped out our men’s tennis program.

Hiring a sippie? How stupid!! Please Mr. Bill, no more sippies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give the guy a year to win...seriously.

Lets look at Cass' first year:
1997 Tim Cass, Overall Record: 9-14, 3-6 in Conf., T-6th for conference, qualified for NCAA regionals.

14-10 overall now, 1-5 in conf.

True, the conference record sucks, but lets give SD a chance before you cut him off.

What a stupid thread. It's going to take some time. Obviously, it's been a very disappointing season (understatement), but faulting the coach for being a UT grad is retarded. If he can coach, it doesn't matter. I wasn't thrilled with the Denton hire, but like any decent fan, I'll stick by him until it's obvious he's not right for us.
I notice you were on the baseball board calling our win over OSU "very important" - considering we're in contention for a conference title. Were you also calling for Rob's head after last season?

I'm in no way against Steve, but there are some folks out there who don't have what it takes to be a FTA-tennis player (quitters). Next year better be A LOT different or we're in a world of hurt.

Maybe our guys are just going through the motions. Perhaps all concerned, coach and players, realize this is a throw away year. It's a shame to waste such a fine facility.
