An amazing hire! He just stepped into a world with infinite better resources. He's long been known as one of the top sprint coaches in the ncaa and in the world! He's recruited some elite speed at Auburn and just had a guy win the 100 and another win the 110 hurdles. They were the favorite to win the 4x100 this year as well before they had a bad handoff. He is elite at recruiting sprinters!

Now if we can maintain some strong performers in the jumps, throws, mid distance, and distance, then we shall remain a national powerhouse or perhaps elevate this program.

We should all be excited!

Honestly embarrassed I didn't know who it was after reading how impressive his career has been as a coach and athlete. Excited to see where he takes the program

I remember him back from his competing/olympics days. Know nothing of him as a coach but loved him as a competitor and clearly has credibility.

Initially it looks like we made the best of a difficult transition. I congratulate Coach Burrell for accepting the challenge of following a legend. We certainly have not been very strong in the sprints lately, and it's clear that there are a lot of points available in those races.

Let's hope Coach can pick right up where Coach Henry left off. Gig'em!
