A 3:05 for the men's 4x400, a very slow start for Lawson Jacobs on leadoff duties, Hemphill goes 45.8, and Farquharson 45.6, and Auhmad anchors at 47.21… but that time isn't going to do much for us
A team that came into the year with Auhmad Robinson, Kimar Farquharson, Hossam Hatib, Antonie Nortje, Ja'Qualon Scott, and added a strong transfer in Lawson Jacobs… a 3:05 is not at all what you expect

Both 4x400's under review but if it stands men finish 6th as a team and women 19th
Do you think auhmad went so slow bc he was hurt, it looked like he wasn't pushing hard and then kind of got tripped once

A noticeable difference is that Arkansas spends every weekend racing against pros or other athletes in this meet… we can't attract any big schools or athletes into our home meets. It's a reason why they have more entries and are showing up when it matters.
Jelani Watkins, Jordan Pierre, Ernest Cheryuiot, and most of their team out here either transferred in last off season or the one before. They acquired this championship team through the portal and it's clearly paid off.
Why is this?
Im glad that's over...now onto outdoors...the real track season!
