The real thing I note is that uga is undefeated at home, which doesn't bode well for anyone else in the playoffs, but I also remember Oklahoma State was the overall number one seed and someone else ended up winning the natty on their courts that year.

Mary was roughed up in the 3rd set 6-1.

The serves were a real differentiator in the match.
Parks had 6 aces to Mary's 1, while Mary had 6 double faults to Parks' 1.
And then on 2nd serves, Parks won 51% of hers, while Mary only won 31% of her 2nd serves.

I think Mary is going to have to beef up her serve game to make a step up to that next level.

Scary. She won the ITA All-American Championship beating currently ranked 3, 4, 26, 58, 84, 95 and lost to #48. She's finished one less match than Ilinca. Oh, and she started playing doubles last week. Keep an eye on Christmas Tree.
