yeah he's going to be great!! We have to keep him healthy and he can be a factor in the mile indoors and the 800 or 1500! As well as the 800 leg in the DMR and we can have Santorum stay in the 1200 and Youssef Asslouj in the mile!brodhead75 said:

Athing had A LOT of success almost immediately when she arrived in College Station. Her two years here couldn't have gone much better. My guess is that much success that early gives you a 'what else is left for me to do' mentality. She literally won everything possible by the age of 20. Also, when you have THAT much success, people start pulling at you from all different directions from a non-track standpoint. That's hard for someone that young to deal with, especially in an individual sport.
I think this may make the next few years of following Cooper Lutkenhaus interesting. I can not imagine the pressure potentially heading his way.
Right now he's running with house money, but how do continue to build under the weight of all the expectations.
Yeah similar to her breaking that 600 record when she was about 16 or 17! Choosing the next chapter of his life/training program will be so important to his future and his future success! Is he mature enough to be in a pro training group, would a college environment prepare him! Hopefully he trusts the right people to help him make that decision because I'm sure every brand / every coach wants him

New throws coach is Amin Nikfar, Iranian Olympic Athlete and Shot Put Record Holder. He threw for Cal Berkeley and his most recent coaching stints were at North Carolina and Stanford where's he's coached up plenty All Americans!

Aggies add Tharushi Karunarathna!!! A Sri Lankan 800 meter runner who has a best time of 2:00.06 where she won the Asian Championships in 2023. She also competed in the Paris Olympics!
Last year she ran for Tulane but never ran better than a 2:06. Not sure if it was injuries or just an inability to adapt. However, let's hope she gets back on track here under Coach Ereng! First 2026 is an international athlete! Enya Silkena, an Irish Heptathlete. At only 17 years old, her heptathlon PB is 5434. That's impressive for her age, she has some solid marks and would have lots of time to get close to the 6000 mark! Those throwing numbers are impressive!

Also taking an official visit this weekend is a kid and family I know very very well! He's one of the best throwers in the nation and a very great kid! I've known him since he was small! Very big on FFA and wants to go into Agriculture so A&M has got to be a great fit! I have and will put it in a good word!!

But we're not done! We also added D'Asia Duncan, an all American in the heptathlon and world medalist in the 400 meter hurdles at the youth level. She comes from Connecticut and has amazing numbers with an entire high school season to go!! She's an elite sprinter and hurdler who's going to soon be a collegiate all American in the multis! BOOM AGAIN! Andrew Jones, one of the best hurdlers in the nation commits to Texas AM! This mad has bests of 110 Hurdles - 13.41, 300 Hurdles - 36.09, and 400 Hurdles - 50.65. Absolutely insane times. As a junior last season he won state titles in both hurdles and won Nationals in the 400 hurdles. Absolute monster!

BOOM! This amazing class continues! Another one of the top 400 runners in the nation commits to Aggieland, welcome Charvis Tubbs from Humble. His 400 best is 46.19 and his 200 best is 21.08. Elite times for a high school junior and he'll be scoring the moment he steps on campus. Crazy he still has a whole other year of development to go before entering college!
