Yeah I was wondering why they were all seeded a little faster! Must be an altitude conversion thing, but I'll take it! They get put in faster heats!

It's common that everyone seeds where they expect the athlete to perform, and even then coaches might be a too generous with the seed time. Its a bit on the honor system, so it can be abused.

If a coach seeds on PR (Like they're supposed) athletes will probably stuck in a heat too slow.

All for the faster heats! Nowadays with registration for these meets, it's usually automatically setup based on their published PR's but I suppose some meets it's manually inputted! As long as it bring a Pr I'm all for it!
