I wanna have a crazy home court environment like Nebraska has!
We can make a start to that and I think and hope we are. This year was much better than years past…at the end of the day it helps to have championships
We need a more stable team that guarantees a good match every game. Too many times we hype up a game and then we lose in 3 sets. Fan base momentum killer.RadCouncil 21 said:

I live in Austin. Went to a game in CS last season. It took longer to drive one way than to lose in 3 sets.
Yep totally agree…you have to win the matches people are at to convince them to come back
Lednicky hit cross most of the game with much success. I would like to see growth in this area for our OHs for next year, that is to figure out how to earn points in the presence of a strong block. Franklin (she's a star I know) beat our strong side block (lednicky+ifenna).taylorswift13_ said:

I'd love for Megan Fitch to develop for a year, but I have no clue how easy it is for freshman to come in and make a presence especially on a senior heavy team! I think we may add an OH from the portal as well! I think Jamie likes having competition throughout spring and summer like how he brought in Waak to compete with Manning and Stinson and Thomas to compete with Ava! It's going to be an interesting offseason! But like mentioned earlier, every girl has shown improvement in their game from one year to the next so I'm excited what another year in Jamie's system will do! And I bet these girls are completely bought in now and will have a chip on their shoulder all off season!
I also think having some more exciting nonconference matchups played at home would help. This year there was nothing before conference play to really get people to see the team early on.

Morrison was in actual tears… you can tell how gutted he felt afterwards! I feel awful for them! Ellee Stinson played her last volleyball match as an Aggie and collegiate athlete, looks like she took it the hardest!

I didn't realize Hellmuth hit a 0.000. She had plenty of kills but also plenty of errors. I wonder how many of them were from being blocked. There was a period of time where we could not get a hit through on the left side yet we kept setting there. I think it was when Smrek was setting up the block like man.
She was also trap set several times and not much you can do jammed up in the net against two giants.

GM. As a "newby" to Aggie volleyball, I just read your entire stream. What an exciting game last night. I'm jumping on the bandwagon late in life. The game has changed so much since our girls played in middle school. Guess it was too boring for me. Maybe because I'm only 5'2. LOL. Thanks to an Aggie season ticket holder who invited me to my first game (LSU), I was overwhelmed with the atmosphere, attendance, amazing talented team and coaches. I watched the last two tournament games and I'm now drinking maroon. These ladies are fantastic and I want more so I'll apply for season tickets asap. Thank you for your insight and enthusiasm. That's amazing to hear!!! Like 4 years ago I knew almost nothing about volleyball and now it's one of my favorite sports to watch! There's something special building in Reed Arena and I'm excited for what Coach Morrison is going to accomplish! Next year we're returning 12 girls and bringing in 4 talented freshman, it's going to be a season for the ages!!!!

Golf as well. Women's sports are in good shape except for soccer

Please don't forget our equestrian ladies. All these sports need Aggie support. They are amazing athletes.

Yea, forgot about that. Tbf, it's very forgettable. I'm really disappointed in WBB- I thought Joni was going to be good. Need a short leash there.

Service errors are misconception. We only had 8 over 5 sets (thats pretty low), while Wisconsin had 9, while both teams had 4 aces. On our side all 4 aces were against Emily so they did their scouting.B$Weigem said:

I am struggling to find a First Ball Kill % for Wisconsin but it might be like 65%, meaning 65% of the time they receive serve they side out: pass, set, kill. That said its important to serve very aggressively to lower that number.
Kevin Hambly at Standford always has his girls serve very aggressively. In 4 sets in against Florida they had 6 aces with 17 Serve Errors while FL had no aces and 8 errors.

I will leave it at this. Our AD is proud of our volleyball team and loves the heart these young ladies showed. He has noticed. You all are a part of this.
