For sure. I'd love to go but work is a **** show this week so I'm not sure I can. I work at CSU and we had all of last week off! I think TAMU is better at each position but in one match anything can happen. My wife is the real Vb fan. She says at least one of our teams makes the second round.

I've actually played against Emory in some coed charity tournaments over the years. She has great hands, she is slow though. Very talented, think shes better than Waak athletically. Waak is great in transition with our middles though

In Colorado or AZ? Setter was the one spot I had question mark at for better player. Emory has had that leg wrapped forever

Loved how in the press conference both Jamie and Logan both expressed how A&M is a team people don't want to be playing right now and that they are playing their best volleyball right now and completely healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two players for Arizona State were a part of the Aggie program, most recently, Brynn Covell was a Bird Kuhn recruit who enrolled early and spent a spring with the program when Jamie took over then she left. Additionally, Claire Jeter who spent a year here and contributed slightly in 2020-2021, left after that season to ASU and is now a solid Middle for them!

Back when she was in high school, so Georgetown. She started in a 5-1 at Arizona and looked like a stud. Honestly haven't kept up with her, but if both setters are healthy, I'd take Emory over Waak

She has been huge for CSU. They are always a 5-1 so a natural fit.

The other middle is Karina Leber. She loves to hit the slide but that can be predictable and is susceptible to being blocked.
From mpl35's writeup (someone get this info to Morrison!), I think these two are what worries me the most. I don't believe we are as good blocking on our left side and recently haven't been able to defend against an effective slide attack.

Honestly our blocking is a huge reason for our recent domination. Hellmeuth has been a presence lately, and Ifenna have been seeing the court well. Our problem is passing and serving. If we lose, I can almost promise you that these two numbers will be high

Oh for sure! Hopefully our serving errors continue to be low and no team can win with bad serve receive. Our blocking has been outstanding in the recent games.

I was just pointing out CSU's strengths according to mpl's writeup which may give us issues. I recall Georgia's MB Sophie Fischer dominating us on the slide. Also Texas' OPP Rutherford having a big game in our win against them.

For Baylor, basically they had no bad losses and a top 10 win.
I can't speak to each and every decision but it often feels to me that the committee can find SOME justification to support what they picked. The issue is that it isn't consistent year over year. At least they talk about it for some transparency. That is a plus.
